Via Montenapoleone

Via Monte Napoleone, is an elegant and expensive street in Milan, Italy, famous for its ready-to-wear fashion and jewelry shops.
It is the most important street of the Milan Fashion District known as the Quadrilatero della moda where many well-known fashion designers have their high-end boutiques and stores from Italian designers to all the world famous brands.
Via Montenapoleone is also regarded as the most important 'street in fashion', as Milan is recognized as one of the major fashion capitals in the world.
Today, several of the world's top fashion houses have their headquarters, major offices or large emporia in the street.

I wanted to practise the zooming lens effect while walking in this famous road, shooting the most famous shops and fashion brands. These photos are the result of this artistic tecnique.

Time to go back home...shops are closed now!

Castello Sforzesco

Castello Sforzesco (English: Sforza Castle) is a castle in Milan, that used to be the seat and residence of the ruling family of Milan and now houses several of the city's museums and art collections.

The original construction on the site began in the 14th century. In 1450, Francesco Sforza began reconstruction of the castle, and it was further modified by later generations.

During these days in Milan there is a light festival: in many squares and famous monuments are installed colourful and artistic lights to render them even more beautiful if possible.

At the end some panning photos to complete the night :-)
